Indecision
(Straddling Fences)

Down in cattle country,
They take a real firm stand.
Decisions you can count on,
Almost, to a man.
There's no wishy washy,
No trying to decide.
Once they've set their course,
There's no changing sides.
Politics is not different,
Down yonder in that land.
That's what makes them different,
Not hard to understand.
You know a person's nature,
What rest within his heart,
And if he's dishonest,
You know it from the start.
Why are they so different ?
It's not hard to understand.
If you live in Texas,
Or other cattle land.
This is the surest reason,
and it makes good sense.
Too many have ripped their britches,
Straddling a Barbed Wire fence
