Some Tomorrow
© By Grady L. Duncan

Tomorrow is always a day away,
or maybe, will never be.
The Lord only, knows the day,
tomorrow will start without me.
This body will be gently placed,
deep within the ground.
My soul will return to God,
to receive the Victor's Crown.
Many saints have gone before me.
I'll see them in that place,
where God will set before me.
I'll look upon his face.
My dear friends and loved ones,
I'll see them all once more,
and there, I'll wait for you,
to join us on that shore.
Shed no tears for me,
nor let grief cause you pain.
I'll be just a breath away,
and we'll meet again.
God is always with you,
closer than we ever could be.
He will comfort and keep you,
until you can come to me.
Keep God's Word before you,
and never from it stray.
It's his plan to save you,
so study it and obey.
Trust in all of his promises,
never doubting a  single one,
and we'll meet in heaven,
when our life's work is done.
