War And Peace

Why can't we get along?
Why must we fuss and fight?
Although we may be wrong,
each side will think they're right.
We strive to be on top,
no matter what the cost.
The struggle doesn't stop,
until one becomes the boss.

Before time had begun,
God too, was faced with war,
for angels he had made,
chose to serve no more.
Satan sought more power,
and rebelled against the Lord.
Others joined his cause,
and wielded hates cruel sword.

They, in their defeat
were banished from their place,
cast down from Heaven's glory
devoid of God's loving grace.
Now they roam the Earth,
spreading their greed and hate.
Those that take up that sword,
are doomed to a firy fate.

Now, if you plan to win
you best be on God's side,
and wield the Sword of Truth,
that the Lord will provide.
With Him you cannot lose.
the victory is assured
The truth will prevail,
and peace will then endure.

Before you choose a side,
be sure you're in the right.
Join in the noise of battle,
and fight with all your might.
Truth and right will win,
in Heaven and on the Earth,
So defend that worthy cause,
and fight for all you're worth.
